NORWICH, Vt.—The Skidmore College men's lacrosse team outscored Norwich University 8-2 in the second half in a 12-7 non-league road win over the Cadets Tuesday evening.
The Thoroughbreds move to 2-4, while Norwich is 3-3.
Alex Miller led Skidmore with four goals, an assist, a ground ball and two caused turnovers.
Eric Megnia had three goals and
Ward Mahoney added two goals. Nick DeBlasio and
Ben Glidden picked-up six ground balls each.
Down 5-4 at the half, the Thoroughbreds outscored the Cadets 3-0 in the third quarter to move in front 7-5. Megnia had two of the three goals, including a man-up tally. Mahoney had the other score. Skidmore goalie
Tim Rahill had two saves in the quarter, keeping Norwich off the board.
The Cadets scored a man-up goal to start the fourth quarter, but the Thoroughbreds responded with a dominating run of five straight goals from five different players to put the game away.

Alex Miller each scored.
Alex Miller's goal was a man-down.
Shots on goal were even at 38. Skidmore forced 23 turnovers, while only turning the ball over 13 times.
Rahill had 10 saves for the win.
The Thoroughbreds return to Liberty League play on Saturday, hosting Union College at 12 p.m.
