TUCSON, Ariz.—Millikin scored nine runs in the third inning on the way to a 10-2 softball win over Skidore College in a make-up game Friday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds are 2-5 to start the season, while the Big Blue improves to 8-2.

Megan White was 2-3 with a run and an RBI double for Skidmore. She scored on a Genesis Delgado sacrifice fly in the fifth. Starter Emily Popp was tagged with the loss to go 1-3. Hannah Davis had 1.2 innings of solid relief, allowing an unearned run on two hits.

Skidmore closes out its Arizona trip on Saturday with games against Wisconsin-Platteville and Augsburg University.
