TUCSON, Ariz.—
Megan White hit a solo home run and
Nicole Rosner tossed six strong innings to lead the Skidmore College softball team to a 3-1 win over Bethany Lutheran College Thursday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds dropped a 9-1 decision to Gustavus Adolphus in the morning.

Skidmore is 2-4 and takes on Millikan in a rescheduled game on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

In addition to White's long ball, Hannah Paolucchi was 2-2 with an RBI, double and triple.
Genesis Delgado accounted for the third run with an RBI double.

Rosner went 6 innings, allowing one run on five hits. She walked one and struck out one.
Emily Popp earned the save with a scoreless seventh inning.

In the first game, Gustavus (4-4) broke open a 3-1 game with two runs in the fifth and four in the sixth.
Katie Anderson had an RBI single for the Skidmore run.
Karly Fishkin was 2-2 with a walk and a stolen base.
