"First I want to thank our crowd. What an amazing turnout. They brought great energy and our players fed off of it," said head coach Joe Burke. "We appreciate the continued support especially through the ups and downs of the season.

"Tonight, we made progress but it just wasn't enough against a very good basketball team," Burke continued. "We understand who we are but right now we are in pursuit of perfecting that identity. It will come with continuing to work hard in practice and competing our tails off in every game we play. As long as our effort continues one this path we will be fine."

The Thoroughbreds look to notch their first win of the season Monday at 7 pm against Plattsburgh State at the Williamson Sports Center.
