SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College field hockey team remained unbeaten in Liberty League play with a 4-1 win over William Smith College Saturday at Wagner Park.

The Thoroughbred even their record at 5-5 and are 2-0 in league play. The Herons drop to 3-7 and 0-2.

Skidmore hit the board first when
Carrie Hughes scored off a corner from
Sofia Marshall and
Carly Shea at 29:26.

Three different players lit it up in the second half for the 4-1 win.
Sarah Winters scored from
Sofia Marshall off a corner at 36:32.
Gabrielle Vaccaro made it 3-0 at 38:33 from Marshall and
Mariah Redler capped the scoring at 39:35.

Vaccaro also had a key defensive save in the fourth quarter.

Jess Gaetgens had seven saves over the first 48:56.
Maddy Carre had one save in 11:04.
