SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's soccer team lost a tough 4-0 home Liberty League contest against Union College Wednesday night at Wachenheim Field.
 
The Thoroughbreds drop to 6-7-2 and 1-7 in the Liberty League, while the Dutchwomen move to 7-6-1 and 3-4-1 in the conference.
 
The Dutchwomen broke the ice in the first half on a penalty kick, and went on to have three different scorers throughout the game to finish 4-0. Fiona Zimmerman scored twice and had an assist for Union.
 
Skidmore outdid the Dutchwomen with four corners, but were outshot 15-10.
 
Ava Keller had four saves for the Thoroughbreds, including a diving save in the second half. Carly Craft had the team's best scoring opportunity when she hit the crossbar in the 71^st minute.
 
The Thoroughbreds finish off the 2019 season at home Nov. 2 at 2p.m. against Liberty League opponent Bard College.
