SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's soccer team lost a tough 4-0 home Liberty League contest against Union College Wednesday night at Wachenheim Field.

The Thoroughbreds drop to 6-7-2 and 1-7 in the Liberty League, while the Dutchwomen move to 7-6-1 and 3-4-1 in the conference.

The Dutchwomen broke the ice in the first half on a penalty kick, and went on to have three different scorers throughout the game to finish 4-0. Fiona Zimmerman scored twice and had an assist for Union.

Skidmore outdid the Dutchwomen with four corners, but were outshot 15-10.

Ava Keller had four saves for the Thoroughbreds, including a diving save in the second half.
Carly Craft had the team's best scoring opportunity when she hit the crossbar in the 71
st minute.

The Thoroughbreds finish off the 2019 season at home Nov. 2 at 2p.m. against Liberty League opponent Bard College.
