Box Score SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—It was a day of mixed results for the Skidmore College volleyball team.

The Thoroughbreds dismissed Vassar 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-23) to finish tied with St. Lawrence for the fourth in the final Liberty League standings, but the Saints own the head-to-head tiebreaker and the final playoff spot.

Skidmore (12-10, 4-3 Liberty) held the Brewers (6-17, 2-5) at bay for the close win.

Katy Ehnstrom led the Thoroughbreds with 17 kills and two blocks. She had a .600 hitting percentage. Sophia Hettler had two blocks and 10 digs, while Frida Anguiano had 16 digs and two aces.

Lauren Wolters contributed 23 assists and six digs and Audrey Powell had eight digs and 15 assists.

Skidmore will close out the season Nov. 1 and 2 with the Skidmore Invitational. The Thoroughbreds open with Plattsburgh State on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.
