SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— Liberty League leader Clarkson University won a key conference contest 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-13) over Skidmore College Friday night at the Williamson Center.

The Thoroughbreds are 10-9 and 2-2 in league play, while Clarkson has won four straight to jump to 15-3 and 3-0.

Down by as many as six points in the first set, Skidmore battled to within two on a
Katy Ehnstrom kill. The Golden Knights scored next two to close it out.

Skidmore overcame an early Clarkson lead in the second set to go in front 17-16 on a
Sophia Hettler kill. The teams traded the lead three times the rest of the way with the Golden Knights scoring the final four points for the 25-23 win.

Ehnstrom finished with a team-high eight kills. Hettler had 12 digs and a block, while
Frida Anguiano had 16 digs.
Lauren Wolters had 18 assists and eight digs and
Audrey Powell totaled 11 digs and 11 assists.

Skidmore is home again Saturday for a 2 p.m. conference match-up against tri league-leader St. Lawrence.
