SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The playoff run continues this weekend for the Skidmore College hockey team when the Thoroughbreds host #11 Hobart College Friday night at 7 p.m. in a big New England Hockey Conference match-up. The teams will move to Geneva Saturday for a 4 p.m. game.

The Thoroughbreds (9-6-2, 5-3-2 NEHC) are tied with the Statesmen (12-5, 6-4) for fourth place with 12 points.

Skidmore is coming off a three-point weekend with a 5-1 win over Castleton and a 3-3 tie with Norwich. Hobart lost 4-2 to Norwich and beat Castleton 5-0.

Matt Muzyka continues to lead the Thoroughbreds in scoring with nine goals and nine assists for 18 points.
Brandon Borges (5-10—15),
Austin Rook (4-9—13),
Tim Allen (5-7—12) and
Avery Steele (3-9—12) round out the top five scorer.

Brandon Kasel is 6-4-1 in goal with a 2.45 goals against average and .915 save percentage.
Brian Kowalski is 3-2-1 with a 3.33 GAA and .899 SV%.

Recent national rankings has Skidmore ranked 10
th nationally in strength of schedule. The Thoroughbreds are ranked 14
th nationally in penalty kill with a 87.8 percentage.

Jonas Toupal is Hobart's top scorer with 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points. Lawson MacDougall (7-12—19) and Zach Sternbach (4-12—16) are also contributing solid scoring numbers. Alexander Connal is 6-4 with a 2.22 GAA and .916 save% for the Statesmen.
