SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—An impressive 8-4 start has the Skidmore College volleyball in solid position to begin Liberty League play at Vassar College on Friday at 6 p.m. The Thoroughbreds return home Saturday for a 4 p.m. league match against Bard College.

Skidmore has won six of its last eight matches and will be gunning for the 7-4 Brewers. Vassar was picked second in the Liberty League preseason poll, while the Thoroughbreds were tabbed fourth.

The Brewers have won three straight, including a 3-0 win at Williams College. Bard is 4-7 after a 3-1 win over Cobleskill.

Skidmore leads the Liberty League in hitting percentage (.256) behind the play of
Katy Ehnstrom. Ehnstrom has a league-leading .425 percentage and is seventh in kills with 3.26.
Lily Fitzgerald leads the league with 0.76 aces per set and
Allie Dillon is second in digs with 6.11 per set.
