WENHAM, Mass.—
Yasmine Boukari scored five minutes into overtime to lift the Skidmore College women's soccer team to a 3-2 road win over Gordon College in the season opener for both teams.
The Thoroughbreds complete the New England road trip on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Endicott College.
Boukari had a hand in all three Skidmore goals. She assisted Emily Basso at 8:06 for a 1-0 lead. After Gordon tied it, Boukari made it 2-0 at 39:59 with a unassisted goal.
Skidmore dominated the overtime with Boukari breaking through at 95:23 with the winner.
Vivian Montgomery-Walsh did not have to make a save in relief for the win. Starter
Ava Keller had two saves in 45:00.
