SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team finished the perfect 4-0 weekend with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-10) win over MCLA and a 3-1 (21-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-21) win against New Rochelle in matches played at Union College.
 
The Thoroughbreds improve to 6-5 and open Liberty League play at home next weekend against St. Lawrence on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. and Clarkson on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m.
 
Katy Ehnstrom led Skidmore with 12 kills and four blocks in the MCLA match. Caite Canfield had 13 digs, nine kills and three aces, while Bailey Hutchins contributed 10 digs, two blocks, and three aces. Lauren Wolters had 34 assists and Allie Dillon chipped in 17 digs.
 
After spotting New Rochelle a first set win, Skidmore bounced back to win three straight sets and the 3-1 win. Hutchins had a double/double with 13 kills and 11 digs to go along with three aces and a block. Canfield had a double/double also with 19 digs, 11 kills, three aces and two blocks. Rachel Licata had four blocks and Ehnstrom had 11 kills and three blocks.
