CANTON, N.Y.—The St. Lawrence University baseball team completed the Liberty League series sweep of Skidmore College with 6-4, 6-4 wins Saturday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds drop to 9-13 overall and 4-10 in league play. The Saints are 8-11 and 6-4.

In the first game, Skidmore went up 2-0 after two on a
Josh Brown RBI single and an RBI double off the bat of
Ryan Strickland.

St. Lawrence put together a five-run two-out rally in the fourth keyed by a three-run home run by Devin Robson. Pat Geiger's solo home run with two-outs in the fifth cut it to 5-3. It was his team-high fourth round-tripper of the season. Â

Robson smacked his second home run of the day in the sixth to make it 6-3. Skidmore got one in the sixth on a pinch-hit sacrifice fly by
Hayden Smith in the sixth, but that was it for the Thoroughbreds.

Will Potter was 2-4 for Skidmore. Starter
Jacob Berish (2-1) gave up six runs in 5 1/3 on nine hits and two walks. He struck out one.
Ben Murphy had 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Skidmore took another 2-0 lead in the second game off a two-run single by Strickland in the second. St. Lawrence got one in the third to cut it to 2-1. The Thoroughbreds added two in the sixth for a 4-2 lead on
Justin LaRose's two-run single.

The Saints scored three in the eight to erase the lead, then added a pair in the ninth to win it 6-4.

Potter went 2-4 again.
Spencer Anderson had a strong start. He went 7 1/3, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk. He struck out five.Â
Jack Walter (0-1) got the loss in relief.

Skidmore travels to Williams College on April 18 for a single game at 4 p.m.
