CLINTON, N.Y.— Number 18 Hamilton College parlayed a 5-0 first half run into an 8-4 women's lacrosse win over visiting Skidmore College Tuesday evening.

Cas Szwajkowski led the Thoroughbreds (3-3) with two goals.
Vivian Foley and
Lilla Seymour had the other goals. All-American
Rachel Talanian had seven ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draws.
Megan Kolopsky compiled 10 saves in net.

Szwajkowski and Foley gave Skidmore an early 2-0 lead just four minutes in. The Continentals( 3-3) scored the next five goals for a 5-2 lead. Szwajkowski ended the run with her second of the game with 11:00 left in the half. Hamilton got one late for a 6-3 lead at the half.

Both offenses stalled in the second half, Hamilton helped by three Skidmore yellow cards. Seymour scored from
Natalie LaBeau at 20:05 for the lone Thoroughbred goal of the half.

Skidmore travels to Mount Holyoke on March 25 for a 12 p.m. game.
