Emily Popp tossed a complete game four-hit shutout to lead the Skidmore College softball team to an 8-0 win over Plattsburgh State, Sunday. The Thoroughbreds lost 8-0 to Washington College in the second game.

Popp allowed four singles, while striking out three and walking one.
Kristina Foley had a two-run double, finishing with three RBI and three walks.
Lizette Roman-Johnston had a two run single.
Lauren Fortunato was 1-1 with three runs and three walks.

Washington College scored eight runs on 10 hits and took advantage of three Skidmore errors.
Karly Fishkin had a double, while Popp and Roman-Johnston had singles for the Thoroughbreds. Â

Skidmore's trip continues on March 14 against Ramap and St. Norbert.
