Thoroughbreds finish league weekend 2-2

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went 1-1 Saturday to finish with a 2-2 Liberty League weekend split at Vassar College.
 
The Thoroughbreds (9-7, 2-2) lost to Vassar 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-20) and came back to beat Bard 3-0 (25-22. 25-12, 25-20) in the final match.
 
Katy Ehnsrtrom had a team-high 11 kills and four blocks against Vassar. Sophia Hettler had four kills and three blocks.
 
Against Bard, Ehnstrom had 11 kills, two blocks and an ace, while Bailey Hutchins had 10 kills, 15 assists and nine digs.
 
Skidmore will host the Skidmore Classic Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
