SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College softball team dropped a pair to Utica College Friday afternoon at Wagner Park, 9-3, 11-0.

The Thoroughbreds are 5-9, while the Pioneers move to 7-9.

Utica broke open a tight 4-3 first game with five unearned runs in the seventh inning.

Lauren Fortunato went 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Skidmore.
Dani DeGregory was 2-4 with a run and two doubles and
Cassie Fishkin was 2-3 with a double.

In the second game, Utica scored 11 runs (five earned) on eight hits. DeGregory was 2-3 with a double, while
Cassie Fishkin went 1-3 and
Rochelle Brown was 1-2.
