SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— All-American
Kelly Donnelly posted her 23rd career double/double to lead the Skidmore College women's basketball team to a 51-48 non-league win over Sage College, Monday night at the Williamson Center.

The Thoroughbreds even their record at 2-2, while the Gators drop to 2-3.

Donnelly finished with 12 points and 15 defensive rebounds.
Migle Vilunaite led Skidmore with 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the floor. She scored 12 of the team's 26 second-half points.

Genevieve Schoff led Sage with a game-high 18 points to go along with 13 rebounds. Kaitlyn Bowman added 12 points.

Down 15-14, Skidmore used a 9-0 run in the second quarter to open up a 23-15 lead. Donnelly drilled a three with 3:31 to play in quarter to cap the run.

The Thoroughbreds extended the lead to 14, 37-23 with 5:06 left in the third quarter. Sage staged the comeback, scoring the final 13 points of the quarter and the first two of the fourth quarter to cut it to one, 37-36 with 9:09 to play.

Schoff shook off a 1-10 first half shooting performance to score seven of the 15 points in the run. The Gators took the lead on a Macie Holmes three, 43-42 with 5:57 to play.

The teams exchanged the lead three times, before Vilunaite put Skidmore up 46-45 with a nice inside move with 3:29 to play. She got inside again with 1:46 left to make it 48-45.
Haley English made a free throw to extend the lead to 49-45.

Sage kept it close when Frankie Pearson banked a three off the glass with :33 left to cut it to one, 49-48. A pair of
Maya Bell free throws with 2.7 seconds left sealed the win.

The Thoroughbreds are right back in action on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. road game against Williams College.
