PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went the distance in a 3-2 (25-17, 21-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-11) non-league win over Plattsburgh State Tuesday night.
 
It was the eighth five-set match for the Thoroughbreds who improve to 12-13.  Plattsburgh falls to 11-14.  Skidmore travels to Union College for a Liberty League cross-over on Friday, returning home Saturday to close out its Liberty League schedule.
 
Caite Canfield had a double/double with 17 digs and 14 kills for the Thoroughbreds. Bailey Hutchins had a double/double of her own with 16 dig and 30 assists to go along with nine kills.  Rachel Licata added 12 kills and five blocks, while Allie Dillon had 16 digs. Katy Ehnstrom contributed a team-high 16 kills and Marcela Familiar added a team-high 24 digs.
