SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y— The Skidmore College women's soccer team got back into the win column with a 3-0 non-league win over Farmingdale.

The Thoroughbreds move to 4-6-1, while the Rams drop to 7-8-3.

Emma Basso opened the scoring for Skidmore on s give-and-go with
Courtney Shaw at 24:21.
Jacqueline Carames sent in
Emily Saliterman in on a breakaway with a well played pass that Saliterman converted for her team-high sixth goal of the season at 27:40.

Skidmore made it 3-0 when
Elizabeth Schaeffer scored through traffic in front, off a corner from
Jane Huber at 66:55.

The Thoroughbred defense shut down a high scoring Farmingdale offense that came into the game scoring 3.0 goals per game.

Skidmore had a 19-5 shot and 5-0 corner advantage. Deidre Walsh had three saves in the first half to earn the win.
Alyssa Rollins didn't have to make a save over the final 45:00. Daniella Ford had seven saves for the Rams.

The Thoroughbreds travel to Bard on Oct. 19 for a 7 p.m. Liberty League contest.
