The Thoroughbreds (4-11-1, 4-5 NEHC) avenge an early season 4-2 loss to the Hawks (8-5-1, 6-4-1).

Neither team could find the net in a physical first period. Jonathon Pallotta scored off a well placed pass through crease from Mark Meads to give St. Anselm a 1-0 lead at 3:22 of the first period. Nick Leonard had the second assist.

With the Hawks holding on to a 1-0 lead late in the third, Skidmore's
Quentin Campbell (Newmarket, Ont./St. Andrew's College) corralled a bouncing rebound to score his first collegiate goal at 12:45 from
Sam Bloom (Davis, Calif./NJ Rockets) and
Andreas Michailidis (Stamford, Conn./Jr. Bruins).Â

Marc Cibelli (Liverpool, N.Y./Gunnery School) deflected a shot past St. Anselm goalie Shane Joyce for his team-high eighth goal of the season at 14:15 from
Dennis Maier (Regensburg, Germany/Northern Cyclones) and
Adam Moodie (Wolfe Island, Ont./St. Andrew's College).

Campbell made it 3-1 with a power-play goal from Maier and
Mickey Foley (Longmeadow, Mass./Springfield Pics).Â
Will Golden (Cohasset, Mass./Boston Jr. Bandits) capped the scoring with an empty netter at 18:40. Campbell and Bloom had the helpers.

The Thoroughbreds outshot the Hawks 28-20.
Jack McDonald (King City, Ont./St. Andrew's College) continued his hot play in goal with 19 saves for Skidmore. Joyce finished with 24 saves for St. Anselm.

The home stand continues on Saturday, when the Thoroughbreds host New England College at 4 p.m. The Hawks travel to Castleton University for a 4 p.m. game. Â
