BROCKPORT, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went 1-1 on the first day of the Brockport Invitational Tournament, Friday night.
 
The Thoroughbreds beat Gordon College 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17) and lost 3-1 to Ithaca College (25-21, 13-25, 14-25, 16-25).
 
Skidmore (2-1) will play Brockport and Houghton on Saturday.
 
Against Gordon, 
Allie Dillon had 10 kills, four aces, two blocks and 24 digs. Marcela Familiar contributed a match-high 38 digs, while 
Sam Abrams (17) and 
Bailey Hutchins (18) combined for 35 assists.
 
The Thoroughbreds won the first set against Ithaca, but the Bombers rallied back to win three straight to remain unbeaten at 3-0 and hand Skidmore its first loss of the season.
 
Abrams had 16 assists and seven digs and Dillon had 11 digs and six kills. 
Lili Delotsang had three of Skidmore's seven aces.
