SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team got back in the win column with a 5-0 non-league win over Mass College of the Liberal Arts, Tuesday afternoon at Wachenheim Field.

The Thoroughbreds are 4-2 heading into their Liberty League schedule, while the Trailblazers fall to 0-4-2.

Skidmore opened the scoring when
Adebare Oyeniyi headed a long throw-in from
Ben Caples off the hands of the MCLA keeper 8:25 into the game. It was the third goal of the season for the defender. The Thoroughbreds went up 2-0 when
Todd Jensen converted a penalty kick at 37:59 after
Augustine Okoye got pulled down in the box. Okoye made it 3-0 just 14 seconds later when received a pass from
Jeremy Tenenbaum and dribbled past the MCLA keeper for his second goal of the season.

Okoye scored his second of the game when he perfectly played a through ball from
Andrey Pertsov at 49:15. Â
Nick Masiero tallied his second of the season off a cross from
Will Berg at 73:39 for the 5-0 final.

Skidmore outshot the Trailblazers 35-8.

Eli Kisselbach had two saves over first 66:00, while
Derrick Yam had one saves over the final 24:00 for the combined shutout. Â Kamron Anderson had 10 saves for MCLA, while Dylan McArdle had three saves in the last 18:00.

Skidmore opens Liberty League play at home Saturday at 2 p.m. against Clarkson University.
