PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.—Plattsburgh State scored in the 89
th minute to beat the Skidmore College women's soccer team 2-1 in a non-conference match.

The loss drops the Thoroughbreds to 2-3, while the Cardinals move to 4-2-1.

After allowing an early goal in the sixth minute, the
Arena Manning tied it for Skidmore with her first goal of the season at 25:51. Manning was able to blow through the defense and beat the Plattsburgh keeper one-on-one.

The game remained scoreless for the next 62 minutes, until the Cardinal game-winner at 88:56.

Shots were even at 13 each, with
Deirdre Walsh credited with four saves for the Thoroughbreds.

Skidmore will open Liberty League play at home Tuesday night at 7 p.m. vs. Union College.
