ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—The Skidmore College baseball team scored two runs in the top of the 12
th to win beat Bard College, 10-8 and split its Liberty League doubleheader on Saturday. The Raptors won the first game 4-2.

The Thoroughbreds (12-21, 6-14 Liberty League) and Bard (9-25, 4-18) will close out the season with a pair Sunday at Castle Diamond, starting at 12 p.m.

In the first game, Bard scored a pair of unearned runs in the fourth fifth inning to take a 4-1 lead. Skidmore scratched a run out in the seventh, but it wouldn't be enough. The Thoroughbreds were held to just four hits.
Dan Miller was 2-3 with a double.

Kenny Ajello went five innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks. He struck out four.

In the second game, Bard scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game 8-8 and force extra innings. It took a few extra innings, but Skidmore scored two in the 12
th to win the game.

The Thoroughbreds pounded out 15 hits, all singles.
Jeb Clarke was 3-6 with two RBI and
Mike Fogarty was 3-5 with two runs and an RBI.Â
Nick Barra was 2-5.

Nick Petrella got the win in relief. He tossed one scoreless inning.
Shankar Mani picked-up his second save of the season.
