WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.—Williams College broke open a tight game by outscoring Skidmore 5-1 in the third quarter on the way to a 13-4 win in a non-league men's lacrosse game.

The Thoroughbreds fall to 1-1, while the #18
th ranked Ephs are 2-0.

Down 2-0 late in the first quarter, Skidmore's
RJ Caruso scored with just four seconds left to cut it to 2-1 after one.

The Ephs scored the first two goals of the second quarter to go up 4-1, but
Connor Hunter cut it to 4-2 with 2:41 left.

Hunter made it 4-3 with his second goal of the game at 13:54 of the third. Williams scored the next eight goals to break the game open.
Chris Melligon broke the run with his first collegiate goal from
Brendan Halloran at 3:41 of the fourth.

Chris Baughan had nine saves over 52:39, while
Josh Worley had one save over the final 7:21.
