ROCHESTER, N.Y.—A late first-half goal held up for #18 RIT in a 1-0 Liberty League win over Skidmore College, Friday afternoon at Tiger Stadium..
It was the first Liberty League loss of the season for the Thoroughbreds who are 4-4 overall and 2-1 in league play. The Tigers are 8-1-1 and 2-0. 
 
It doesn't get any easier for Skidmore. The Thoroughbreds travel to #6 William Smith College for a 2 p.m. game Saturday.
 
RIT scored in the 42
nd minute when Hayley Cromwell tapped in a one-timer for her first goal of the season.
 
Skidmore threatened late, including a shot just before time expired by 
Jane Huber that was saved by Tiger goalie Kelly Rogers.
 
RIT had a slight 11-10 edge in shots.
 
Thoroughbred goalie 
Deirdre Walsh had five saves.
