SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team won a pair of non-league matches, Saturday at Union College.
The Thoroughbreds (7-15) beat the College of New Rochelle 3-1 (25-10, 25-15, 22-25, 25-18) and Penn State-Behrend 3-0 (25-18, 25-22. 25-18).
Allie Dillon had a double/double to lead the Thoroughbreds to the New Rochelle win. She had 14 kills and had 25 digs. She was one of several Skidmore players to post big numbers. Baily Hutchins chipped in 24 assists and 16 digs, while Marcela Familiar had 29 digs.
Caite Canfield had 19 kills and nine digs and
Ang McPartlin had 10 kills.
Dillon rang up her second double/double in the Penn State-Behrend win with 13 kills and 18 digs. Canfield added 15 kills and three aces.
Skidmore returns to Liberty League play on Oct. 16 against Union College at Vassar.
