Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team dropped a matches to Hamilton and Middlebury on the final day of the Skidmore Classic.
 
The Thoroughbreds opened with a 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 13-25, 21-25) loss to Hamilton and concluded with a 3-0 (15-25, 23-25, 16-25) loss to Middlebury.
 
Skidmore is 2-12 and opens Liberty League play Oct. 3 at Clarkson.
 
Defensive specialist Marcela Familiar-Bolanos earned all-tournament honors for the Thoroughbreds.
 
Helen Putriment of Sage was tournament MVP. Rounding out the all-tournament team were Margaret O'Brien of Hamilton, Emily Kolodka  and Hannah Blackburn of Middlebury, Rachel Liebig of Sage, and Madison Karwas of St. John Fisher.
 
In the Hamilton match, Familiar had a team-high 28 digs. Aria Goodman had 18 kills, two aces, and nine digs. Brittany Osborne added 11 digs and a pair of blocks. Kalle Fox chipped in 31 assists, seven digs, and two aces.
 
Against Middlebury, Familiar rang-up another team-high with 27 digs. Fox had 24 assists and seven digs. Osborne had 10 kills and nine digs. Clara Jones had nine digs, five kills, and two blocks.
