Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 BROCKPORT, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went 1-2 to open the season at the SUNY Brockport Tournament.
 
The Thoroughbreds opened with s 3-0 (25-27, 17-25, 17-25) loss to the host school on Friday. Skidmore then bounced back for a 3-1 (24-26, 25-14, 25-17, 25-22) win over Lasell and then lost 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 17-25, 20-25.
 
Against Brockport, Kalle Fox had 19 assists and 12 digs. Marcela Familiar added 20 digs and Aria Goodman had 15 digs and seven kills.
 
Fox came back with 35 assists and five aces in the Lasell win. Goodman also had five aces to go along with 15 digs. Brittany Osborn added 13 digs and 11 kills, while Familiar contributed a team-high 20 digs.
 
Goodman had a .429 hitting percentage with 20 kills and 12 digs against Ithaca. Fox chipped in 41 assists and 22 digs, while Familiar was back with a team-high 32 digs. Clara Jones added 10 kills and nine digs.
 
Skidmore travels to Rochester on Sept. 5 for the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
