Ice hockey looks to close out the semester on a winning note

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College ice hockey will look to carry momentum into the new year when it plays its final two games of the semester this weekend, hosting conference foes #2 Norwich and Saint Michael's.

During this weekend's games, Saratoga Youth Hockey and Skidmore Hockey will be teaming up to help raise funds for the family of Andrew Barber, a member of the Learn To Skate program. Andrew's mother Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2011 and more recently with metastatic breast cancer in May of 2014. Andrew has also faced many medical challenges, having undergone 13 surgeries in his young life due to a chronic health condition. Saratoga Youth Hockey will be collecting donations during the games and will provide more information on how attendees can help the Barber family.
