Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CANTON, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team picked-up its first Liberty League win of the season with a 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 25-15) win over Bard College, Saturday at St. Lawrence University. The Thoroughbreds lost to the host school 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-13) in the final match.
 
Skidmore (3-15, 1-3 Liberty) will host Middlebury College on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
 
The Thoroughbreds split the first two sets with Bard (2-21, 0-8), before winning a close third and an easy fourth set for the win. Brittany Osborn had a team-high 15 kills to go along with 11 digs. Aria Goodman added 14 kills and had a .361 hitting percentage. Kalle Fox continued her steady play with 35 assists and 10 digs, while Clara Jones had five aces and eight digs. Marcela Familiar had a team-high 22 digs to go along with four assists and two aces.
 
Against St. Lawrence (15-8, 6-2), Goodman had 13 kills, eight digs, an ace and two blocks. Fox racked-up 20 assists and five digs, while Familiar had 14 digs.
