WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.—The Skidmore College golf team finished fourth of 24 teams in the Williams College Fall Invitational played Sept. 21-22 at Taconic Golf Course.
The Williams 'Gold' Team (297-310--607), which held the overnight lead, held on to defend its title by four strokes over RPI (307-304--611). Trinity (300-312--612) came in third place, while Skidmore was fourth (303-311—614).
Makenzie Denver was the top Thoroughbred finisher, taking second at six-over-par with 75-73—148.
Tim Manwaring tied for 22
nd with 78-77—155, one stroke in front of
Mackenzie Nelson who shot 75-81—156.
Zach Grossman (77-80—157) and
Mitchell Campbell (76-81—157) tied for 33
rd.
Skidmore will compete in the Liberty League qualifier Sept. 28-29 at St. Lawrence.
