SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Skidmore College golf team will defend its 2012 Liberty League title after defeating fourth seeded St. Lawrence, 4-1 in a match-play style tournament, Saturday at McGregor Links Country Club.

The Thoroughbreds will meet RPI in the championship round for the second time in as many years after the Engineers sealed the 3-2 victory on the first playoff hole against the University of Rochester.

Anthony DiLisio defeated Jack Reardon of St. Lawrence in the second group, 8 and 7, while Makenzie Denver won his third group match, 2 up over Jeff Duggan.

The top-seeded Thoroughbreds will meet second-seeded RPI Sunday with the first pairing scheduled to tee off at 12:24 p.m.
