Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- The Skidmore College volleyball team suffered setbacks in a pair of Liberty League matches, Friday at Bard College.

The Thoroughbreds (6-9, 0-3 Liberty) lost 3-1 (17-25, 25-16, 14-25, 16-25) to Vassar and 3-0 (14-25, 17-25, 13-25) to Clarkson.

Corinne Palmer was Skidmore's top offensive performer in the Vassar match, registering 13 kills and one block. Aria Goodman chipped in with seven kills and nine digs and added two six kills and two digs against Clarkson. Emma Wilberg contributed 31 assists against Vassar and Marcela Familiar-Bolanos led Skidmore defensively with 23 digs against Vassar and 16 digs in the Clarkson match.

The Thoroughbreds travel to Vassar Oct. 5 for Liberty League clashes with St. Lawrence University and Bard College.
