Box Score 3 ROCHESTER, N.Y.-- It's been a series a close matches for the Skidmore College volleyball team and nothing changed in a 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-21) win over RIT in the final Liberty League match of the season.
The Thoroughbeds (10-16, 3-9) will close out the season at home next weekend with the Skidmore Invitational Tournament.
The host Tigers (14-21, 3-8) won the first set 25-22, but Skidmore took three straight for the win.
Corinne Palmer led the team with 16 kills, seven digs, two aces, and four blocks.
Natalie Nagle had 10 kills, while
Emma Wilberg chipped-in 33 assists and six digs. Marcela Familiar had 23 digs and
Clare Kenny had nine digs and an ace.
Aria Goodman had a match-high five aces and eight digs.
Skidmore will face Kean University in the first match of the Skidmore Invitational on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.
