Thoroughbreds drop tight match at Union

Box Score SCHENECTADY, NY - Union College held off a valiant Skidmore comeback for a 3-2 (26-24, 25-12, 22-25, 24-26, 15-12) Liberty League win  Tuesday night at the Viniar Athletic Center.

The win improves the Dutchwomen's record to 4-2 in Liberty League play and 15-7 overall. With the loss, Skidmore drops to 1-5 in Liberty League action and 8-12 overall. 

Corinne Palmer had 22 kills and 19 digs to lead the Thoroughbreds. She also had six blocks (one solo). Aria Goodman had 12 kills and a team-high 23 digs. Brittany Osborn added 13 kills and Marcela Familiar recorded 20 digs. Emma Wilberg finished with 51 assists and 13 digs.
 
Skidmore returns to Union this weekend to play RIT on Friday and Bard and Vassar on Saturday.
