Box Score 2 Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College volleyball team posted a pair of victories over Bard and Clarkson in Friday night's Liberty League Crossover at the Williamson Sports Center.
The Thoroughbreds are now 9-4 overall and 3-0 in Liberty play. Vassar was the only other school to post a 2-0 record while Clarkson and Union were 1-1 and Bard and St. Lawrence went 0-2.
All the teams return to action tomorrow at Union.

Skidmore def. Bard 3-0 (25-5, 25-6, 25-19)
The Thoroughbreds improved to 8-4 with a three-set victory over Bard. Senior
Sam Friedman tallied 13 digs and four service aces, while junior
Corinne Palmer had 12 kills at a .579 hitting percentage and
Mallory Mendelsohn finished with 12 assists. For the Raptors, Mai Aurell-Foulser had four kills and eight digs while Lexi Cooper added eight assists and Ruth Lakew finished with seven digs.
Court 2
Vassar def. Union 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-11)
Hilary Koenigs led the Brewers with 28 assists, three blocks and two aces as Taylor Mosley added nine kills and an ace and Clara Cardillo had seven kills and four blocks. For the Dutchwomen, Mackenzie Westfall had 14 assists, Marissa Vollmer tallied 11 digs and Lauren Woods and Nora Wood finished with five kills apiece.

Clarkson def. Bard 3-0 (25-11, 25-7, 25-18)
For the Raptors, Lexi Cooper had 10 assists and four digs, while Tytravia Riley added four kills and a solo block.
Court 2
Vassar def. St. Lawrence 3-1 (20-25, 25-9, 25-17, 25-19)
Taylor Mosley put up 19 kills, eight digs, three blocks and a .440 hitting percentage to lead Vassar. Hilary Koenigs added 40 assists, nine digs and a block while Chloe Hallum had 17 digs and Chloe McGuire chipped in with 10 kills and eight digs.

Skidmore def. Clarkson 3-1 (15-25, 25-22, 25-26, 25-20)
After falling in the first set, Skidmore rebounded to defeat Clarkson 3-1 in a rematch of last year's Liberty League Championship.
Corinne Palmer had 14 kills to go along with four blocks, while
Sam Friedman had 24 digs and three aces.
Mallory Mendelsohn tallied 37 assists as
Aria Goodman and
Elise Finnerty finished with 11 and 10 kills, respecitvely.
