Sophomore forward Connor Merrill was also a major factor in the victory shaking off foul trouble to score 13 points and grab seven rebounds.

"You can't ever take winning on the road for granted," said Skidmore coach Joe Burke.  "Cobleskill is very tough to beat in that building and I thought they played well tonight.   Fortunately, we made enough plays to secure the win.

"This team is a work in progress. We have a lot of learning/growing to do and need to tighten some things up but I like the direction we are heading."

Cobleskill received a strong outing from Will Davis who finished the night with 15 points and six rebounds.

Skidmore will next be in action on Tuesday December 4 when they travel to Oneonta, N.Y. to face the Red Dragons of Oneonta State beginning at 7:00 p.m.
