Volleyball caps 4-0 weekend with wins over Lehman and Oneonta

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Schenectady, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team extended its winning streak to 13 with a pair of 3-0 wins over Lehman and Oneonta at the Union Interleague Challenge.
 
The Thoroughbreds finished 4-0 on the weekend, not dropping a set, and improve to 15-4 overall. 
 
In the win over Lehman (25-8, 25-11, 25-15), Carolyn Bottelier had 17 kills to go along with five digs while Mallory Mendelsohn added 30 assists and three service aces.  Elise Finnerty chipped in with nine kills and a team-high three blocks.
 
For Lehman, Imani Dubois had 11 assists and three aces, while Jo-Marie Aquino added 13 digs.
 
Against Oneonta (25-20, 25-12, 25-15), Mendelsohn had 24 assists, nine digs and three service aces to lead the way.  Bottleier had a team-high nine kills and Corinne Palmer posted four kills and three blocks as the Thoroughbreds avenged a loss to the Red Dragons earlier this season.
 
For Oneonta, Becca Horton tallied 16 assists, while Kristina Pelaccio had seven digs and four aces.
 
Skidmore hosts Middlebury this Tuesday at 7 p.m.
