Suffern, N.Y. - The Skidmore College golf team holds a 13-stroke lead after day one of the NYU/Manhattanville Spring Invitational at Spook Rock Golf Course.
The Thoroughbreds shot 297 (+9) as a team to build a comfortable lead over second place Hamilton, who shot 310.
Senior
Joe Flowers and sophomore Anthony Dilisio each shot an even par 72 to tie for second, one stroke behind Cabrini's Greg Verde.
John McCarthy is alone in fourth with a one-over 73 and
Ryan Lloyd is tied for sixth with a three-over 75.
Skidmore resumes play tomorrow morning.
