Thoroughbreds win NYU/Manhattanville Invite by 28 strokes

Suffern, N.Y. – The Skidmore College golf team shot a two-day total of 598, 28 strokes better than second place SUNY Delhi to win the 10-team NYU/Manhattanville Spring Invite, Sunday afternoon at Spook Rock Golf Course.

Sophomore Anthony Dilisio had the low score for the Thoroughbreds, shooting a 72-74—146 to finish in third place, one stroke behind Cabrini's Greg Verde and Columbia's Andrew Kim, who finished tied for first.

Joseph Flowers finished fourth with a 72-75—147, while Ryan Lloyd and Peter Anderson tied for fifth with a two-day total of 151.  John McCarthy was seventh with a 73-79—152.

Dilisio, Flowers and Anderson were selected to the All-Tournament team along with Verde and Kim.

Skidmore returns to action on April 15 at the Kravetz Invitational.
