Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College hockey team came from behind to tie Colby College, 3-3 in an ECAC East/NESCAC cross over game, Saturday at the Saratoga Springs City Rink.

The Thoroughbreds are 3-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the ECAC East. The Mules are 3-3-1 and 1-2-1 NESCAC.

Colby scored a pair of first period goals to take a 2-0 lead. Nick Dupuis scored a power-play at 13:56 of the second from Hunter Thayer and Alex Mykolenko to cut the Mule lead to 2-1 after two.

Brendan Cottam tied it with a short-handed goal from Brad Schuler and Dupuis at 1:20. Colby jumped back in front at 4:17 and then had a chance to go ahead with a five minute powerplay, but the Thoroughbreds killed the penalty and then tied it on Julian Malakorn's goal from Phil Buonocore at 15:48.

Skidmore outshot Colby 4-1 in the overtime, but Mule goalie Cody McKinney kept the Thoroughbreds off the board.

Andrew Ross had 28 saves in net for Skidmore, while McKinney finished with 25 for Colby.
