Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College volleyball team won the 2010 Skidmore Volleyball Classic after posting a 4-0 record in the five team, two-day event at the Williamson Sports Center. Senior Meredith Palmer and Mallory Mendelsohn were selected to the All-Tournament Team with Palmer earning MVP honors.
Skidmore posted a 3-1 win over St. Michael's (25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23) and a 3-0 win over St. Lawrence (25-14, 27-25, 25-15) on Saturday after a pair of 3-0 wins over Cazenovia (25-9, 25-12, 25-14), Hunter (25-13, 25-11, 25-21) on Friday.

Sam Friedman had a team-high 13 digs. For Cazenovia, Jessica Converse totaled 13 digs, Noelle Sippel had 12 assists and Megan Pomarico recorded seven kills at a .538 hitting percentage.

For Hunter, Christine Luebcke (16 digs, 13 kills) and Mallory Grubler (19 digs, 12 kills) each had a double-double.
