Troy, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team improved to 17-4 with a pair of wins at Sage College on Saturday.

The Thoroughbreds beat Sage for the third time this season 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-23) and Potsdam 3-1 (25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 25-14).

In the Sage match, Meredith Palmer had 10 kills and six blocks, while Kelley Vershbow added 11 kills and three aces. Mallory Mendelsohn contributed 26 assists and Carolyn Bottelier had a double/double with 10 kills and 12 digs.

Palmer was on top of her game again against Potsdam with nine kills and six blocks. Vershbow had 10 kills and three aces, while Sam Friedman added 16 digs.

Skidmore will host the Skidmore Classic Tournament, starting on Oct. 22.
