Clinton, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team completed a four-match sweep on Saturday to win the Hamilton College Invitational.

The Thoroughbreds beat Gordon 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-17) and Rochester 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20) to finish 4-0.

In the Gordon match, Meredith Palmer had 13 kills and six blocks and Kelley Vershbow added nine kills. Becca Ormsby and Mallory Mendelsohn combined for 23 saves, while Lauren Dinsdale contributed 20 digs.
Against Rochester, Palmer had 12 kills and Vershbow had 14 kills. Sam Friedman had 16 digs, while Ormsby was credited with 25 assists. Liz Balboni had a team-high four blocks and Dinsdale was the defensive star with 35 digs.

Dinsdale and Palmer were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Skidmore (10-3) will compete next in the Oneonta Red Dragon Classic, Oct. 2-3.
