Skidmore downs Babson 5-2 in Pathfinder Classic

Oswego, N.Y.-- Tyler Doremus scored two goals and Andy Ross stopped 24 shots to lead the Skidmore College hockey team to a 5-2 win over Babson College in the SUNY Oswego Pathfinder Classic.

The Thoroughbreds improve to 5-3, while the Beavers fall to 3-5-1.

Senior defenseman Steve Keady was selected to the all-tournament team. Hunter Thayer, Anthony Ferri, and Mike Gibbons all scored for the Thoroughbreds.

Skidmore out shot Babson 49-26.

The Thoroughbreds return to ECAC East action at Castleton State on Tuesday.
