Lake Placid, N.Y.--The Skidmore College volleyball team beat St. Lawrence 3-0 (29-27, 25-19, 25-17) and the lost to Union 3-1 (25-22, 25-15, 26-24, 25-18) to finish 3-1 at the Liberty League Preview played at the Olympic Training Center.
The Thoroughbreds improve to 9-3.

Lauren Dinsdale was selected to the All-Tournament team after leading Skidmore with 7.43 digs per game. She had 44 in Friday's 3-1 win over Clarkson. Dinsdale also received 62 percent (159 of 256) of serves at a team-high .969%.
In the St. Lawrence win,
Erica Duncan had 15 kills and six digs.
Murray Koch had a double/double with 12 kills and 12 digs.
Becca Ormsby contributed 41 assists.
Against Union, Duncan had a double/double with 21 kills and 19 digs. Koch also had a double/double with 12 kills and 25 digs.
Meredith Palmer had four blocks and 11 kills.
With her weekend totals, Duncan established a new Skidmore record for career attempts, eclipsing Kathy Tschampel's 5,094 attempt mark. Duncan's current total stands at 5,132 attempts. With her performance this weekend, Duncan joins the elite 1,700 kills and 1, 700 digs “Career Kills and Digs Combination” in the NCAA Records Book.
Skidmore is at the Oneonta Invitational on Sept. 26-27.
