Schenectady, N.Y.— The Skidmore College volleyball team beat St. Lawrence and Clarkson Saturday to finish second in the Liberty League championships played at Union College.  The host school won the five-team event.

The Thoroughbreds opened play Saturday with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-19) win over the Saints and came back for the quick 3-0 win over Clarkson (25-11, 25-19, 25-16).  Skidmore finishes the season with a 26-10 record.

Against the Saints, Erica Duncan had a double/double with 19 kills and 20 digs.  Murray Koch added 16 kills and 9 digs, while Lauren Dinsdale contributed 26 digs.

Duncan posted another double/double against Clarkson with 14 kills and 10 digs.  Koch had eight kills and six digs, while Becca Ormsby totaled 35 assists and four digs.

Duncan and Dinsdale were selected to the Liberty League All-Tournament team.
