Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College volleyball team posted a 3-1 record for the weekend in the Skidmore women's volleyball Classic with victories over St. Lawrence, New Paltz, and Clarkson.
The Thoroughbreds dropped their only match of the tournament to Cortland State, 3-0, who went 4-0 in the Classic.
The Thoroughbreds improve to 23-9 on the season, and will compete at the Liberty League championships at Union College on September 7-8.

New Paltz won the last two sets for the comeback win over the Golden Knights. Senior Samantha Prudente led the Hawks with a game-high 15 kills, and junior setter Stephanie Bova contributed 41 assists in the win. Senior Nicole Mercadente added 19 digs while sophomore Dana Kindelmann finished with three blocks.
For Clarkson, sophomore Alison Schroeder recorded 41 assists and Jessica Agnew led the Golden Knights with 10 kills.
